It is our sincere desire to see men, women and children, particularly in Ethiopian Jewish communities across the State of Israel, find and step into their rightful place in society, prospering and making a difference in their families, communities, in Israel and even the world. Uniquely designed projects, to be formally unveiled in time, will facilitate meeting practical needs and provisional care of individuals and families based on cultural practices and experiences. Our projects include:
- A project for Ethiopian men to help them effectively transition, from a rural patriarchal society, to an urban, high-tech culture, with all of the differences this situation unveils.
- A project to help young Israelis of Ethiopian heritage find their place in society after the army or military service through higher education paid for by grants, scholarships, internships, etc.; become financially sound and savvy in managing their personal finances while building wealth for the future; how to make the right decisions using practical life lessons, to help them succeed in every area of life.
- A project to assist single mom’s and women, whose family lineage is from Ethiopia, find their voice and their place in the communities where they live; learn to drive; read, write and speak Hebrew; find a trade or skill to provide for themselves and their children, etc.
- A project that provides for the opening of soup kitchens and shelters for the homeless.
- A project to oversee rehabilitation centers for addicts of drugs and alcohol.
- A project to provide school supplies for children in crisis situations, after school care, etc.
- A project that provides special assistance for the disabled, elderly and Holocaust survivors.
