We have the privilege of nurturing heartwarming relationships with elderly residents of Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh that survived the Holocaust. Once a month, we arrange to meet our friends at the supermarket so that they can shop for items they like in the quantities that need rather being given a box of food and other products they cannot use.
The most gratifying part of this outreach is that BOCA not only pays for the food and household item, we treasure the wonderful exchange of sincere love and kindnesses from our collective friendships.
