Our Mission
Branch of Comfort’s Ethiopia Project (BOCA-E) is intended to bring attention, support and clarity to the enormity of the struggle Ethiopian Jewry have had to endure in order to maintain their identity, livelihood and prominence in Ethiopia, while waiting to make Aliyah or immigrate to Israel.
Our Vision
BOCA-E will partner with other organizations, volunteers, university students/interns, etc., in order to prepare Ethiopian Jews for Aliyah to Israel. We will then help them settle, find their place in society and flourish, once they do arrive in the long-awaited Land of Promise. Education, in many forms and levels, is the key to interrupting the cycles of hopelessness and despair, especially for those, from rural communities, who have waited years to immigrate and be reunited with immediate family members and friends in Israel.
